The School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT) at the Great Bay University aims to become a leader in innovation and excellence in education and research. The School is dedicated to cultivating future-oriented, internationally competitive, interdisciplinary exposed talents.

Undergraduate and Graduate Programs

Our undergraduate programs in School of Computing and Information Technology are designed to equip students with a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The school initially will offer three undergraduate programs: Computer Science and Technology, Telecommunications, and Electronics Engineering. More programs of interdisciplinary nature will be launched as we grow. Each program will offer innovative curriculum, the opportunity for students to interact and integrate with industry. By 2030, the School expects to enroll 350 new students each year in these programs.

The School currently offers joint PhD program with Sun Yat-Sun University and Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) and joint Master program with Southern University of Science and Technology and Shenzhen University. Research is at the heart of our School.  Graduate students can engage in cutting-edge research areas such as artificial intelligence, wireless communication systems, quantum computing, and cybersecurity. Our state-of-the-art laboratories and industry partnerships enable students to apply their research in real-world contexts, driving technological advancements and contributing to the society.
